let me start off by saying how grateful i am for google.
that is how molly & lauren found me.
without question … this day was easily one of my favorite days of last year. and some of my favorite work … ever.
you will not find a fancy dress, perfect hair, or an extravagant reception. it was pure emotion. pure heart. pure meaning.
molly and lauren drove from portland, oregon to marry in san francisco. under the eucalyptus trees of lovers lane, surrounded by their closest friends + poppy and emma, they made it official. everything about their simple elopement was true to them — filled with sentiment and meaning. isn’t that rainbow flag amazing?!? and the rainbow ribbon used to passed their rings around?!? how lucky i am to have been a witness to it.
lastly, molly’s mom was the person who brought molly & lauren together. and while she’s no longer on this earth, her presence was felt so deeply. you will see little mementos incorporated throughout their ceremony to remember her. as i’ve come to understand the true depths of pain and loss myself, i cherish and connect with that aspect of their day that much more.
molly and lauren, i can’t wait to see you two again. forever thankful to google for connecting us in more ways than one.
thank you for showing me how love wins and heals. much love to you both…x
